Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are engaged! Sel announced the news on Instagram late last night, writing the simple caption "forever begins now.." and sharing several photos of herself + Benny. And from the looks of these pics, they appear to have gotten engaged outside during a picnic—but just speculating here.

Selena and Benny have been dating for over a year and went public with their relationship last December. They tend to stay pretty private when it comes to talking about each other in the press, but Sel did tell Zane Lowe during a February appearance on Apple Music 1, “Without getting into too much detail, I think it’s just really important to meet someone that respects you. And I think it’s really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in. But I’d have to say, overall, it’s the safest that I feel and it’s been really lovely and I’ve only grown through it, so it’s awesome.”

She also opened up to Vanity Fair back in September, saying, “I’ve never been loved this way. He’s just been a light. A complete light in my life. He’s my best friend. I love telling him everything.”

Oh, and in May, two sources told Us Weekly that marriage was definitely in the cards for these two, with one saying, “They both think they’ve found the person they’ll be with forever,” and another adding, “She definitely sees this relationship going the distance. They’ve talked about marriage and having children and are very much on the same page. Selena has found the love of her life. She’s ready to settle down.”
